We are proud to offer "State of the Art" organic hard wax, which is gentler on your skin than strip wax. This wax attaches only to your hair, not to your skin, which makes the process less painful and ensures minimum irritation to the skin.

The hair need to be at least 1/4 of an inch long for the wax to grip it properly. This is usually about 7-14 days of growth after shaving. After a few waxing sessions, you will see a big difference in the thickness and the amount of hair that will grow back. Waxing lasts weeks unlike shaving which only lasts days.

*If this is your first visit, please inform us, so we can perform an irritation test.

Dos and Don'ts

Before Waxing Care:

1. Exfoliate three times per week and right before your appointment.
2. Please Do Not put any lotions on the area that needs to be waxed the day of your appointment.
3. Take an Ibuprofen or Advil 30-45 minutes before you appointment. It may not work as a pain reliever but it is helpful as an anti-inflammatory.
4. Do Not sunbathe or use tanning beds for a period of 24 hours Before and After body waxing.
5. If you are using Retin- A, please stop the use of this product one week prior to wax any area when the Retin-A is usually applied.
6. Let us know if you are on any blood thinners.

* If you are near the end of your menstrual cycle and would like to get a Brazilian wax, please make sure you change your tampon in our restroom prior to your waxing service.

After Waxing Care:

1. Do Not wear tight clothes for the rest of the day.
2. Avoid deodorant (if under arms are waxed) for the rest of the day.
3. Do Not exfoliate the waxed area for 3 days after treatment.
4. Do Not work-out for a period of 24 hours after body waxing.
5. Do Not have any facial treatments for a period of 3 days after facial waxing.

* If you get ingrown hairs, use Tend Skin (sold at our spa) to help clear the area and prevent any new ones from forming.

**Please DO NOT shave in between waxing sessions. Doing this will cause your hair to become more thick and it will be more painful the next time it is waxed.
